30 things breast feeding mothers can relate to

Friday, 26 June 2015

1. Letting your "small boob" fill up whilst bub drains your "big boob" so they look even in a bikini.

2. Quietly releasing their bite so you don't wake them up. Secretly screaming inside! Those tooth marks are scary.

3. When you're in the shower, trying to see how far your milk can squirt.

I love my receding hairline

Wednesday, 10 June 2015

Cheers to our receding hairlines and the handfuls of hair that go down the drain each time we wash our luscious locks, cheers to the greys, the messy hair and the sexy buns. Okay, maybe I'm not in love with my receding hairline, but I never thought I'd be okay with it.

Looking more like my dad except female, my fiancé and I giggle about who has the best receding hairline. My hairdresser warned me of these days, whilst I sat there with a big belly in her chair, I must admit I laughed it off. But here I am, having just blow dried my beautiful brown locks, glistening with a number of greys, whilst watching my five and a half month old shuffle (still figuring out the crawling) collect handfuls of my hair looking up at me in confusion.  As his hair grows, mine falls out, how lovely!

The Pregnant Munchies

Wednesday, 3 June 2015

Where do I start? First of all, I LOVE FOOD! I live to eat not eat to live. I've always enjoyed discovering new restaurants and cafés, hunting for the best breakfast in town! Then heading to the markets or shops depending on what day of the week it is, picking up my basket of goodies so I can spend a couple of hours each night preparing and cooking something I can share with family and friends.
